A Writer's Journal is a journal about writing.....my writing to be precise. In it lie tidbits of ideas gathered here and there to help me grow as an author. I am an Independent Author who has written and self-published eight books. I have just published my first full length Gothic Novel titled
The Curse of Anna Greene. It is the story about a thirteenth Century witch who was murdered by a lynch mob who believed she was the devil's minion, the daughter of a Warlock who was burnt at the stake for kidnapping and murdering an infant; the murder of the infant's mother; the rape and sodomy of a fifteen-year-old girl; the murders of a seven-year-old boy, his dog and the boy's mother; the murder of a French farmer and for sorcery. Jewelz the Juggling Cat is a story about a seven-year-old girl, Lucy Fletcher who discovered a mother cat giving birth to a litter of kittens on her way home from school. She fell in love with one of the kittens and decided to take him home with her. She had a tough time convincing her mother to let her keep the kitten. Her mother made Lucy take the kitten back to its mother the following day; but the kitten, its mother and brothers and sisters returned to Lucy's house. Seeing how happy their daughter was Lucy's parents allowed Lucy to keep the kitten. To their surprise Lucy and her brother, Lucas soon discovers that Jewelz has a special talent. He can juggle! I entered this story at the Goodreads Book Club's Slide Show Story Contest. I uploaded the story on to Microsoft Powerpoint and drew the illustrations. I have published the story on Lulu as a Kindle version and am planning to release it as a soft cover in the Autumn.
